[2025-11-02 13:31:50] [email protected]: @GroupNebula563 @mutualaid @askfedi thank you so much, i'll update my post. 💗

[2025-11-02 13:28:51] [email protected]: @agasramirez boosted! would also tag the new @mutualaid group and possibly also the new @askfedi group (and corresponding hashtag: #AskFedi)

[2025-10-31 15:10:05] [email protected]: @askfedi #AskFedi shall i do a #PeerTube video on @[email protected] about screwing around with bootleg phones on a DIY 2G network? if so, suggest websites for me to try on them (HTTP only please) #tech

[2025-10-31 08:50:21] [email protected]: I have an Ubuntu install (a fairly old version), which is configured in a very specific way. I want to create a bootable installer image that copies that config, but for use on different machines. Is there a tool that will do this?Boosts appreciated! #Linux #FOSS #FLOSS #Tech #AskFrdi @askfedi

[2025-10-24 03:08:28] [email protected]: @GroupNebula563 @askfedi One of the worst offenders I have ever seen are touch sensitive lamps or nightstand lights.

[2025-10-23 15:24:00] [email protected]: @pa8e @askfedi not sure the rest of the people in my house would be super happy with me flipping all the breakers at 12:23 AM, but I will try that tomorrow if @weezmgk's solution doesn't get me anywhere. thanks! :)

[2025-10-23 15:22:42] [email protected]: @GroupNebula563 @askfedi Turn off all electrical groups and turn it back on one by one until the clocks no longer synchronize. Then the culprit is in that group. LED lamps, phone and laptop chargers, solar panel inverters are usually the culprits.

[2025-10-23 15:06:46] [email protected]: @weezmgk @askfedi got it! will check that out, I have an AM/FM radio/cassete player so I will get to that ASAP and tell you if it works! :)

[2025-10-23 15:05:57] [email protected]: @GroupNebula563 yep @askfedi

[2025-10-23 15:05:44] [email protected]: @weezmgk @askfedi "plug-pak" as in wall warts?

[2025-10-23 15:04:58] [email protected]: @GroupNebula563 plug-pak power supplies are frequent offenders for radiofrequency interference. If you have a portable AM radio, carry it around the house and put it near those rotten little beggars and see if any of them are noisy. @askfedi

[2025-10-23 14:42:21] [email protected]: @askfedi I have a couple atomic (radio controlled) clocks, all of which are unable to get the WWVB time signal (~60 KHz) properly. However, during a power outage, all my clocks were able to set themselves flawlessly, which leads me to believe there's some device in my house that is interfering with the signal. Anyone got any suggestions of devices to check?Tags, so people far smarter than I can see this: #Radio #HAMRadio #HAM #AmateurRadio(boosts appreciated!)

[2025-09-10 17:49:11] [email protected]: @GroupNebula563 @askfedi You're right, it's a browser. Sorry, just ignore sleepy me. ;)

[2025-09-10 17:47:59] [email protected]: @OhOkayKay @askfedi looks like it does, though it just pulls results from Google

[2025-09-10 17:47:07] [email protected]: @OhOkayKay @askfedi does waterfox have its own search engine? last I checked it was just a browser. will check it out

[2025-09-10 17:45:59] [email protected]: @GroupNebula563 @askfedi I've been using waterfox lately. Rather like it.
