I recently secured a county government internship in Kenya, and I am doing my best to build a better future for myself. Unfortunately, the internship stipend has been delayed until December, and I am struggling to afford basic necessities while waiting. My transport costs are approximately KSh 1,000 per week, and I am also struggling with rent and other essential expenses. I have tried to find ways to manage, but I have run out of options. I am afraid of losing this opportunity simply because I cannot afford to get to work.
