I am a mother from Slovenia, raising a little girl with my partner. Our family is facing overwhelming financial hardship, and I am desperately trying to protect our home and give my daughter a safe future. Our apartment has serious dampness and mould problems throughout the property. The damage has destroyed furniture, clothing, and personal belongings. Our bedroom is no longer usable, and our family is now sleeping in the living room. We turned to our insurance company, hoping for help, but our entire claim was rejected. We received no compensation. We urgently need to address the moisture problems and repair our home, but our financial situation has become critical. We are behind on mortgage and other loan payments, and I live with the fear that continued financial difficulties could eventually cost us our home. I have also received a warning that our electricity could be disconnected because of overdue bills. Our 14-year-old car, which I depend on to travel to work, has numerous faults that we cannot afford to repair. When our little daughter became ill, I had to stay home to care for her, reducing my income even further. The constant anxiety has become so overwhelming that I cry almost every day, frightened about how we will manage to get through another month. I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for help with urgent household bills, overdue loan payments, essential repairs to our home, and a safe way to continue travelling to work. Our fundraising goal is €10,000.
