Plus, I would become instantly eligible for Medicare coverage (otherwise, I'd have to wait until I reach 65); and I would get the maximum SS payment normally received by those waiting until 67 to retire.4/

The legal representative handling my case said that it would take a while for the AC to assign my case to a new ADJ; but when they did, the new judge would hear my case & schedule a new hearing if necessary to rule on this new appeal.
