Two weeks ago, I finally managed to escape a three-year toxic and economically abusive relationship in Buenos Aires. I relocated to Córdoba to start my life over from zero. I had to leave fast. Right now, I have no family or safety net to turn to, and my only belongings fit into a small backpack: my work laptop, two hoodies, one t-shirt, and some underwear. I am trying to raise a buffer of $300. This isn’t just for temporary relief; it is a specific, calculated amount I need to get out of acute survival mode and get back to working so I can support myself independently. Here is exactly how the $300 will be used: Safe housing & food: Paying for a bed in a safe hostel for at least two weeks and buying basic groceries. Basic hygiene & clothing: Buying at least one extra pair of jeans so I can wash the clothes I wear every day, and getting a haircut. Medications: While seeing a doctor is free here, I need funds to cover essential prescription medications. Getting back to work ($30): I am a digital artist.
