Amongst all the holiday hullabaloo both at home and at my retail job, getting settled into our new place, an unexpected family funeral, and my zealous quest to not sleep on the floor, I failed to realize we won't be able to pull all the funds together in time for next months rent.I expected more pay from the vacation leave I cashed out than I actually received, and my partner's first payday at his new job won't be til after the rent payment would be late.So.. I've transferred the funds we've raised so far for the bed to this instead, and I'm hoping to raise the other half of our rent by the 3rd.
