[2025-11-06 08:09:20] [email protected]: I've found a lawyer through my state bar's lawyer referral service that might be able to help me out here when it comes to going after this company, however their initial consult fee is $100 for an hour and it has to be paid to just get on their calendar, so the sooner that is paid, the better. And who knows what their fees are after that initial consult, assuming there is even anything warranting legal action at this point.As is tradition, anything helps in general since I'm also still waiting on unemployment to approve me or not, and I'm also waiting to get onto medicaid as well. Hi Everyone.. Yet again..As I mentioned in one of my last couple of posts, I've managed to endanger our finances this week mainly in order to avoid having my feefees hurt.I've also endangered my partner's #MentalHealth because we don't have the funds to get his meds (the money I planned to use for that ended up going to the #motel for our room).I'm sorry.So.. thanks to my cowardice, I must now once again plead for #MutualAid donations to keep us housed and prevent my partner from risking a #CPTSD -related meltdown at the slightest provocation.We've been given staggering amounts of money by the community here on the #Fediverse and we are truly grateful. It's the only thing that has prevented us from living on the streets.I know folks are probably tired of seeing another almost-daily #begpost from me, and understandably so. I'm sure people are almost tapped out from shouldering our burden.But I don't know what else to do but toot into the void and hope we haven't driven everyone away.Thank you, dear friends.
